Overview AWS upgrade

The existing AWS upgrade process was not efficient from resources allocation stand point. Also, it created significant upgrade failure risk as the user deployments might vary.

This AWS upgrade process provides an alternative Sentry upgrade approach. This upgrade is available only with MobileIron Cloud.

Users deploy Sentry behind the load balancer. The Sentry target group is managed manually. During the upgrade process, users deregister instances that require upgrade. After upgrade completes, you must reregister them to the target group.

Use any load balancer appropriate to your deployment.
